Join a ‘Mind in Motion’ Class

Where: Bakewell, Ashbourne, Denstone, London

Join the Mind Education Movement.

Classes take place in a studio setting, beginning just like a traditional physical class , with a mat and space.

  • Journaling Offload – release and clear your thoughts onto the page.

  • Quiet Meditation – tune in and listen to what your mind wants to share.

  • Guided Body Scan – moving from head to toe, you begin noticing: the subtle tension at the base of the skull, a tightness in the throat, stiff shoulders, tenderness in the chest, the quiet workings of the stomach lining, the strength of different muscle groups. This practice teaches you to listen to your body’s messages and frequency and begin the process of transformation and integration.

  • Movement - Next, we bring the body into motion. On the mat, gentle movements are introduced to support overall wellness, helping to release tightness, ease tension, and unlock areas of blockage. If you have a particular area of stiffness, we can focus on that area with tailored movement.

  • Learn - Seated or lying down , whichever feels most comfortable , you’ll be guided through an accessible, engaging education on the psychology of the mind. Together, we explore:

    -Where the mind is and how it has been understood across cultures and history

    -Schemas and the predicting mind

    -The stressed mind and its impact on the nervous system

    -Self-coaching and reframing techniques

    -The role of emotions, hormones, and neurotransmitters in shaping experience

    -How pain, energy, vision, addiction, and frequency influence mind–body wellness

  • Stretch, Affirm, and Activate - At the end of each class, we stretch and choose one positive habit to adopt in the coming week. Using guided visualisation, we imagine when and how we will practice this habit, helping to activate the neural pathways in the brain. By starting small and achievable, these practices become sustainable and empowering.

With this knowledge, you gain practical tools you can apply directly to yourself, your family, and your work environment , empowering lifelong understanding and change.

We share our experiences to reinforce our own learning and contribute to the wider Mind Education movement, helping others cultivate awareness and wellbeing.

In one study, people achieved a 24% gain in hip flexor strength purely from mental practice vs 28% from physical training. Another demonstrated 13–35% strength increases in isometric tasks through daily mental imagery over a few weeks.
